Service Engineer – Field Support
About the Role You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our equipment at customer sites. You will be the go-to technical person for customers, ensuring their equipment runs smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly.

What You Will Do
  • Install and set up equipment at customer locations and ensure it is working correctly
  • Perform routine maintenance and fix technical issues to keep downtime low
  • Provide on-site and remote support to customers when they face problems
  • Run diagnostic tests to find faults and fix them efficiently
  • Communicate clearly with customers to understand their issues and offer solutions
  • Train customers on how to use the equipment properly
  • Write service reports and maintain documentation after every visit
  • Follow all safety and quality guidelines during installations and maintenance
  • Advise customers on upgrades and part replacements when needed
Day to Day
  • Talk to customers regularly to understand their concerns and improve equipment usage
  • Track daily tasks and update the head office with activity reports
  • Manage material requests and check stock availability
Monthly
  • Plan and carry out preventive maintenance schedules
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and review KPIs
  • Meet all key stakeholders at least once a quarter in person

Who We Are Looking For
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering — Diploma candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience as a Service Engineer or in a technical support role
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Good at diagnosing and fixing technical problems
  • Clear communication in English, both written and spoken
  • Comfortable travelling to customer sites, sometimes on short notice
  • Willing to work outside regular hours when urgent issues arise
  • Familiar with preventive maintenance practices and documentation
